I noticed that there was a new firmware version 2.1.2.18 for Orbi RBK50. Has anyone installed this version, and has there been any issues after the installation. Please provide any details that you may have. Thanks,Dave

This update is worse than ever. Updated 3 hours ago... satallite doesn't connect to Router. All my wifi connect failed. I need to keep rebooting the router and it only last for an hour. WTF? I was hoping you guy resolve the problem where I need to factory reset my **bleep** every week now I need to do it more frequent.

MORE JUNK FIRMWARE AGAIN!I was on 2.0.0.74 and disabled auto-update after the 2.1.1.16 farce and went back to 2.0.0.74. But, last night it autoupdated anyway to 2.1.2.18. (I must have missed something in nvram. Never mind, that's not the point I'm making here...) Now every time the xbox is switched on, the Orbi reboots! Go on, Netgear, you've spent the past month blaming Google for your own programmers' incompetence. I think it's about time you started blaming Microsoft? It would be helpful if Netgear's Orbi web UI would provide a control to enable/disable auto update and also show the current setting. I can sympathize with a Netgear desire to "simplify" things for the user to provide a more friendly experience, but the firmware must be really good for this to work. This firmware is not there yet.

The first wave to be released are only for the RBR50 and RBS50, which is used in the RBK50 and RBK53 (Costco) kits.

I'm currently running firmware version 2.1.2.18 with ZERO issues whatsoever. Have been this entire time.

If all goes well, I'm assuming that NETGEAR will auto push this new firmware out at some point, right? Including for users running 2.1.2.18?

  Yes, it will be auto-flashed on your Orbi shortly after release, I'm sure.

  The beta will not be pushed. It's a manual upgrade only. When and if NG deems it fit for world wide release, then it will be pushed via auto update.

Hi, since the new upgrade I have experienced losing internet connection, constant drop out of the orbi Wi-fi network espically on iPad and i phone. It’s really frustrating as this network should be rock solid, I have 1 Orbi router and 3 satellite units.
