No Spotify after Orbi upgrade (internetradio no problem)

Dear Community,

 

Best wishes for 2020.

Last week I upgraded my network form Netgear R7000 nighthawk to Orbi RBK50.

With the nighthawk everything worked fine except I didn't have enough Wifi coverage, hence the Orbi.

Instalation was a breeze and everything works fine except Spotify on my Denon x2400h.

It seems there is a connection between the network and the denon, because HEOS works for internet radio and Deezer, but not for Spotify. I can see the denon in the connect to menu in Spotify, but it doesn't connect. Not via my andoidphone, not via my windows PC or Apple Mac or Iphone.

Can someone help me?

  • Check your Denon to see if there is a firmware update. I have a Denon X3200W that had a similar loss of Pandora due to them changing the security signature on Pandora. Unfortunately, it required Denon to update the AVR firmware to solve that issue. Otherwise a power cycle of your Denon (unplug it for 30 sec and plug it back in) may recover Spotify.

      Ik works again.

      The Denon was on the lastest firmare, but a full power cycle thit the trick.

      Simple enough solution but to complicated for me.
