No Wifi, but Ethernet works fine
Using the RBR50 and 2 satellites. I decided to switch ISP’s. Tech came out today and installed modem. It showed online but my Orbi wouldn’t work with it. So I decided to just go back to the old ISP’s...

My first step would be to call the original ISP and confirm that their device (fiber uses an Optical Network Terminator [ONT], not a "modem") is working correctly.
The information appears inconsistent, i.e.:
- Computer and gaming console are on the internet, vs.
- The devices connected via Ethernet can’t seem to access it either
Which is it?
When an Orbi router is factory reset, the WiFi credentials change to those printed on the product label. Does that SSID appear as an available network and allow devices to connect using the password printed on the label?

Thanks for the reply!
I can contact the original ISP tomorrow. I initially ruled them because of the hardwired devices having no issues.
those devices have access to the internet as normal because they are plugged into the Ethernet of the RBR50. They cannot access orbilogin.com for me to be able to view the advanced settings of the router. I’ve tried the IP address and various routerlogin.net stuff in the url and it just redirects back to the netgear website.
ORBI63 is the factory SSID. It does appear as an available network on any device I’ve tried. Scanning the QR code just gives error that it cannot connect.- irish26Oct 06, 2025Aspirant
Edit: ORBI63 does not appear as an available network
