Orbi : 2 satellites running at 300mb hub starts there but gradually slows to 40mb
Hello,
Would be hugely grateful if someone could help me with this. The title says it all: I've got fast access from Virgin and their hub is in modem mode and connected to our RBR50 by cable. All works fine after a reboot but within a couple of days the hub slows down, the satellites do not.
The hub has about a dozen things connecting to it but one of the satellites is about the same and is currently running at 10x the speed of the hub. Clearly the hub is linking to satellites at high speed but loosing it for non-Orbi devices connected.
A bit odd?

Which orbi do you have?...firmware?

They are RBR50|Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router, and 2 x RBS40|Orbi AC2200 Tri-band WiFi Add-on Satellite.
Firmware on all three is v 2.7.2.104
Speed this morning has slowed to 22mb.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
