Thanks the modem doesnt have any wifi on it. Its an open reach modem that then connecte to the home hub router for wifi. I assumed i would just replace the home hub with the orbi but need the basic isp. Details to put into the orbi

I would contacxt your ISP to see if the modem is needed or there services. I presume it maybe. If the modem is a modem only, then the Orbi should be able to run in router mode. Walk thru the setup wizard on the Orbi routers web page and it should help you set up the Orbi with the modem.

Thanks. The open reach modem is definitely needed as its fibre to premise. Is tne setup wizard fairly straight forward?

Set up the Orbi and ditch the BT router.
There is a manual for the Orbi WiFi System somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> Orbi RBK50 | WiFi System | NETGEAR Support <<<<
Remember to start everything in the right order.

Thanks thats useful. In face of it suggests orbi will auto detect the isp and settings
