Orbi blocking Yamaha Musiccast app from connecting
I have an ORBI RBR50 router. I am trying to connect my Yamaha Musiccast app on my iPhone to the receiver. The ORBI is denying access. It thinks it is an attack. Here is the log from it (I think).
Any suggestions?

I agree with the other reply that these logs are unrelated to your Yamaha app issue because they refer to outside access.
One thing to verify is make sure you've enabled Local Network access for the iPhone app: Go to iPhone Settings, pull down and search for "Yamaha", click on the Musiccast app, enable Local Network.

These log entries show the Orbi firewall interpreting connections attempts from outside the Orbi network that the firewall has identified as fitting a common pattern. If the smartphone running the Yamaha app is connected to the Orbi, it will have a "private" IP address, not one of these public addresses. Common Orbi IP addresses are 192.168.1.(some number). i.e. these log entries do not indicate the Orbi blocking an app on the local network.
Not having a Yamaha receiver myself, it is hard to come up with possibilities or try anything. Perhaps it would be useful to describe what steps are taking place and where the Yamaha app fails.
Could you provide the model number of the Yamaha receiver?
It occurs to me that this might be another one of those "2.4G Issues".
I'd like to check the Yamaha specs and see what WiFi bands it supports.
Thanks
