Orbi dropping internet connection
Help please!
I have just installed a Netgear DM200 successfully and set up as modem only mode. I have then attached and successfully installed an Orbi rm40 plus one satellite. Latest firmware has been installed on both devices and for the first hour of fast internet reaching corners of the house previously unreachable it now keeps dropping the connection for fun. I’ve rebooted both and more but still no success. I’m totally lost now - I’m not a teccy but I do have some fairly confident idea of what I’m doing.
Besides it does work ok and off so I must be doing something right but how do I stop this constant drop off.
If it’s of any help my satellite keeps changing from solid amber to blue....?

What firmware are you on? also is it just the satellite disconnecting or are you getting wifi drops across both units?

Thanks for getting back to me. It’s dropping off on both units and can be for just a short period (minutes) and as was the case last night for hours!
Yesterday I updated the firmware again and I am now on 2.1.1.16 for both the router and the satellite.

Do you have any google homes or chromecasts on the network? There is a know issue with google devices crashing routers and causing other issues.
