Orbi dropping internet connection
Hi,
I have the Orbi RBR40 with 1 Satellite and my internet consistently drops. The ISP signal stays consistent but everything drops signal from the orbi.
Firmware v2.1.4.10
The orbi's configured in AP mode with secure and guest wifi. Roughly 5 devices connected: 1 wired from the Orbi router, 3 wired to the satellite, and 2 wifi. The ISP router is connected from the wall via coax and wired to the orbi router. no wifi configured for isp.
Any thoughts to whats causing the drop in signal?

Do wired connections thru the Orbi as well drop?
Do you have access to the routers web page when this happens?
WHat is the distance between the router and satellite? Feet?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem? Built in router here?
Any other wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?
What channels are you using? Try 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming.

Thanks for the response! Nice setup - do you have any other thoughts?
Yes, no, about 200 ft.
ISP Router:
Condo community, multiple neighbors.
2.4 and 5 not sure how to get the specific channels.
Have those disabled.
And the statllite works at 200 feet connected to the Orbi router?
How big is you condo? SqFeet?
Your ISP modem is a gatway router as well.
Couple of options,
Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode.
If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router. If you have a congested area with nieghbors, might have problems here. You can find changing channels on the routers web page. Under Basic/Wireless.
