Orbi Firmware 2.3.1.60 install error

Question

I received an email about upgrading my firmware from 2.3.1.48. I used the Orbi app as stated. My satellite RBS50 upgraded to 2.3.1.60, yet my RBR 50 still remains on 2.3.1.48. I tried twice to upgrade with no success. I get errors on checking updates and it will only find update if I reboot the RBR50, it says it was upgraded yet it never happens. Any suggestions?

Please try the manual upgrade of the Router.

Please download the software from the Netgear Support page: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RBR50.aspx#download to your computer
Log in to the web GUI and go to >> ADVANCED >> Administration >> Firmware Update >> Manual Update and then click on Browse and choose the file that you downloaded.
