Other than price can any one tell me a single reason not to return my Orbi back to Costco and trade for a Linksys Velop? I use ethernet backhaul which they support so there is no advantage to the 5Ghz backhaul the Orbi has. The Velops are also hands down more stable. I'm tired of losing internet without notice everyweek until I reflash firmware.

e1superman they all have their own set of problems and issues , get away from one type of headache and start another different headache
- e1supermanJun 09, 2018ApprenticeCan you be specific on what issues Velops have? From what I read their firmware is stable and they don't have issues like this. All the reviews basically say the advantage of Orbi is the dedicated 5Hz backhaul.

So according to Velop's own forum there are many people experiencing similar issues... some examples:
Velop often disconnected from internet
Velop System Requires COMPLETE Reset & Setup After Power Loss or Modem Disconnection
Firmware update - 1.1.2.187020
- e1supermanJun 09, 2018ApprenticeYou do realize those threads are mostly 9 months to a year old, versus when you read the Orbi threads here we have dozens of threads on critical bugs plaguing us now. Also, to my knowledge Velops don't force you to auto update. Huge benefit so you can pick a firmware version that is stable for you and not upgrade unless you need a new or improved feature (versus auto update and having things break or take your entire system down).
