Orbi LBR20 issue or SIM card issue?
I acquired a AT&T activated SIM card from one of the 3rd party subscribers and installed it in the router, it was great for 6-7 days. Download speeds averaged 30-35mb consistently throughout that first week. Then suddenly my internet went to literally .01mb. Of course did all the resets/reboots on the router with no fix. Contacted my internet provider and they sent me a new SIM. Put it in and everything was great again, 24hrs later internet slowed again to .01mb.
Does this sound like a router issue or a issue with my SIM card? Any suggestions is much appreciated as I don’t know much about mobile routers. I acquired the sim from nomad internet and is suppose to be unlimited data with no data caps or throttling but to me it acts just like I’ve been throttled.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi XxJamesAxX
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
There may be a few different conditions in which this could happen.
How many devices usually connect to the network?
Does it affect wired connection? Wireless connection? Both?
Please check the current firmware version. The latest firmware version is 2.5.2.20
Regards,
Blanca
Community Team- XxJamesAxXAspirantThe latest firmware is installed and both the wired and wireless download speed is affected.
I also have a phone on the AT&T network and it still works fine so I know it’s not an issue with my local tower. (Just throwing that out there) - XxJamesAxXAspirantI forgot to answer your other question above, I have set up 7 devices to connect to the router but generally there is only 2-3 connected at the same time.

Hi XxJamesAxX
Thank you for responding. We are currently looking into this.
We saw a different thread that shows the same symptoms, using an AT&T SIM card acquired from Nomad Internet, but it is a different mobile router.
We'll get back to you the soonest for update.
Regards,
Blanca
