Orbi loosing Internet Connection

I get the same issue , but mine stay connected to the Internet but the light of my Orbi router remains Pink/Purple ?
You need to connect your Orbi router's Yellow Internet port to your third party router's LAN port. That will remove the magenta light.
I have already done that, but when I lose internet connectivity I get the magenta light back again.
Well when I connect my modem to the Orbi in the WAN port the light goes out, but when I lose internet connectivity, the magenta light comes back on again, and I have to reboot the Orbi.
