How do you change the password or the ORBI app, when i click on forgot my password to the app it takes me to my netgear browser for me to change my net gear password.
the App says that my user is admin but it keeps asking me email so im going in circles. thank you

Had you set this up before?
Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
A login window opens.
Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
Select ADVANCED > Administration > Set Password.
The Set Password screen displays.
Select the Enable Password Recovery check box.
Select two security questions and provide answers to them.
Click the Apply button.
Your changes are saved.If not, you'll need to do the following:
Wire connect a PC to the router and factory reset the router using the back push pin button. Hold it in for 15 seconds then let go. Power OFF the ISP modem for 30 seconds than back on. Wait for the WHITE led to slowly pulsate on top of the RBR, then log in to orbilogin.com using a web browser and walk thru the setup wizard. This time write down all important information for safe keeping later on.

The Orbi app is (in my biased opinion) a mess. You are correct. When you open the app, it often fills in "admin" for user name when in fact the app requires the Netgear login, which is an email and a password. Why it puts in "admin" in the first place is a mystery to me. It is irritating to have to erase "admin" and put in the correct user ID.
The Orbi web interface has a fixed user name of "admin" (which cannot be changed), plus a password. These credentials have no relationship to the Netgear login.
