How close is a safe distance to place the satellite orbi from my chair? Do I have to worry at all about the signal radiation?
Short answer: there is little to no health risk to you based on the amount of radiation emitted by 802.11 on either the 2.4 or 5 GHz bands. No matter how close you are to it.
