Orbi RBK13 won't complete setup

Hello,

 

My Orbi RBK13 wifi is hungup on the setup step where it's supposed to connect to wifi. I'm using a very new Xfinity modem, where I have bridge mode enabled.

 

Here's the exact step it's stuck at:

"Orbi Network Detected"

"Cables Connected: Check"

"Checking Internet Connection: Failed"

...

"No Internet Connection

                 ---

Try these troubleshooting tips:

- Unplug the modem's power. Then plug the modem back in and wait about one minute. (I tried this and it failed)

- If your ISP requires a different connection type, tap ADVANCED SETUP to manually configure. (We're using DHCP so this is not necessary)"

 

Any one have any clue what's wrong?

    It sounds like you are using the Orbi "app" to configure the router, correct?

    Do you have a device with a screen large enough to use the Orbi web interface? (http://orbilogin.net)

     

    My observation is that few of us who watch this "Orbi" community forum have ever used the "app" to configure a system.  There is a forum devoted entirely to the "app" where people may have more experience with this issue:

    Also, the RBK13 is a relatively new system which appears to intended for customers who are accustomed to using smartphone "apps" to do things.

     

    (This is just a lot of words to say, "I'd dearly love to help, but I got nothin".)
