I am using my RKB40 as a 2-AP-Set with my Fritzbox 7360. If ypu put the Orbis into AP mode, then all your devices will get their IPs from your Fritzbox, just as they did before.
I wouldn't run my Orbis in router mode unless I really had a very, very good reason to do so.
