Orbi RBk50 and Negear EX8000
Hello,
I'm trying to decide what my best course of action would be for incorporating the EX8000 to an Orbi router and satelite. I have a set of Zyxel AV2000 powerline adapters and I'm wondering if I should use a powerline adapter to connect the EX8000 via ethernet and put it into AP mode. Would this be beneficial or should I keep the EX8000 as an extender?

The RBK50 covers large homes up to 5,000 sq. ft Unless you're trying to provide wifi to the moon, I'd ditch the EX8000. It'll only cause you problems.

I'm the type that likes things to be optimal and I'm also the type that hates to store relatively expensive equipment in the closet. Ultimately I would like to incorporate this into my network, as long as it isn't detrimental.

I can confirm that my EX7700 doesn't connect to a RBR50 either. I presume that the Orbi and EX models may not be compatible.
