Orbi RBK50 issues with Qnap connected to Satellite
I posted this yesterday and got confirmation from Netgear it was posted but it seems it was deleted or removed as I cannot find it on my account or in the list of posts.
My issue is have a Qnap NAS attached via ethernet to a Satellite router, it worked great for months. However a few months ago I started getting an error on the Qnap saying the adapter was disconnected (no matter with port on the Qnap or Satellite I used, all other devices however - computers, printers, Apple TimeCapsule used for backups/storage only - work perfectly still connected to ethernet). My performance was so terrible I had to stop using it for using media (it's only purpose) as it would stutter the entire time.
I spent much time troubleshooting this on my own and also with Qnap. We determined there is an issue with the Orbi, we just can't tell what other than it looks like more a software issue since all other ethernet connected devices behave and function normally. Yesterday morning I moved the Qnap from my office to my living room where the main Orbi router is. Plugged it in there and all my issues are resolved, no more error and I can play anything I want again without any performance issues! I would prefer to move the Qnap back to my office as that is where it fits and I don't want people to have easy access to it, it's low to the ground and I want it out of the way of any potential accidents!
I cannot seem to get a person at Netgear support to inform them of this issue so I wanted to try here and see if this could escalated up or perhaps someone else knows why a Satellite would anywhere from a few to over 20+ errors a day of the adapter being disconnected?
Thank you!

Sorry I forgot my setup! I have multiple systems that use a mix of: Windows 10 1809/1903, Mac Mojave 10.14.6, iOS 12/13 and many smart devices in my home network

Hi, I have an QNAP TS-509 that I'm trying to connect to my newly purchased Orbi AC3000 router (Firmware: v2.3.5.30). I experince the same issue - I can ping the Qnap, but I do not get any response on any requests. Trying to map drive on PC Win 10, DLNA services or Web-login is all not possible. I have tried to connect the NAS both to the main router and also the satellite - both without luck (ethernet cable).
Have anyone found a solution for this...?

Not quite the same issue! I can see and connect to the NAS just fine. It's the performance that is affected when connected to a satellite router, the issue goes away when connected to the main router. This is a new issue, was working for 6 months with no issues before
