Orbi RBK50 Router Satellite

Question

What is it that deside if a iPhone or iPad in you house connect to the router or the satellite.

I thought it would connect to the closest of the router or satellite.

My backhaul status is good and i´m on v 2,1,1,16 firmware.

But for some reason most of my devices connect to the router even if they are much closer to the satellite.

But if you restart the system the spread between router and satellite is much bigger.

Do you have the fast roaming enabled on the router?

very simple answer to your question,, orbi team are still manage to stable the latest firmware , its a common issue, we all facing these . so dont worry, betta version are available to try. i did but not happy. so i decided to used version v2.0.0.74. untill they make proper stable firmware both ver 16.and 18 plus beta last one are almost same&nbsp; dont try.

No the option for "fast roaming" is "off" as it was by default.And now the sattelite show status "poor" for some reason. It have been "good" everytime i looked before.&nbsp;&nbsp;

But the speed is good to my iMac anyway who is located closest to the satellite on the top floor but shows up as connected to the router thats located in the cellar.I live in a house with two floors and a cellar. My internet is 100/100 fiber.

How do i cheked my orbi connected time? because my orbi keep display CONNECTED sign on my wifi devices,&nbsp; every 3 to 4 min messaage on my mobile devices shows CONNECTED ORBI 120 ?&nbsp;
