Orbi RBK50 Wifi on have 250Mbps with a 1Gbps Internet Line
Hi all,
Would like to get your help and advice, I have just purchased a RBK50 AC3000 Orbi to use with my 1Gbps internet line, I have setup the main Orbi and the Satellite, however when I test it with fast.com or speedtest, I can only get 250Mb, it is just 1/4 of my cable internet speed, which when I was using ASUS RT-AC88U AiMesh with RT-AC66U, I can get around 700MB on those speed testing website.
For the Orbi, I have the below settings,
Firmware: 2.5.1.8
Disabled off Daisy Chain
Disabled 20/40 coexistence
Disabled IPV6
Enabled implicit beam forming
Changed and played around the channel for 2.4 & 5Ghz
Thanks all

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last update?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
What devices are you using to speed test wireleslly? Is your wired speeds to spec? They should be.
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
I would turn OFF the RBS while wirelessly speed testing with the RBR alone first.
Make sure your wireless device is connecting to the 5Ghz SSID. Can check your connection rates with WiFi Sweet Spots app on your phone or pad. You should see 866Mpbs or something near this...
Ensure WMM is enabled. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
