Orbi RBK53 sporadic connectivity wifi and wired

 

Orbi RBK50 and two Sats

 

I have both wired and wireless connections which seem to be sporadic? 

 

My Vonage TA constantly goes on and off line and my printers (Brother- wifi  and Epson - wired) also. Firmware V2.1.4.10 auto updates turned on. 

 

Normally I would ascribe this to one of the devices but all 3 and both wred and wireless makes me suspect my network

 

Vonage TA will reconenct but printers which show connected in the orbi admin page show offline in my Mac running 10.13.4. Without the Vonage TA going on and off I'd blame the Mac. I can reboot printers and they will show ocnnected but drop off line quickly

    Whats the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem?

     

    What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.

    Try disabling the following and see: Disable MIMO, Daisy Chaing and Fast Roaming and IPv6 on the router to test.

    Beamforming, MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router.
