Orbi RBR 40 causing 404 errors

Really RBR40 router but that wasn’t on list.
Last week out of nowhere I started getting 404 Wanlan errors when trying to get on several websites. Online advice said to switch to AP mode by going to Orbilogin.com. But I can’t get on that sight because my Orbi WiFi blocks it and gives me the 404 not secure wanlan error. Netgear won’t help me because I bought system in 2018. Which sucks and is terrible business policy since I changed nothing and their product stopped working. Thoughts anyone?

  • what modem/gateway do you have?

What ip address is the orbi using? You can use that to log into it.

Easy way to check is disconnect the orbi from the gateway, reboot the orbi and reboot the device connecting to it. Then when both reboot, pull up a command prompt and type ipconfig   that should be the ip address of the orbi that you can log into

I got the up address from my IMac Network settings. If I type into Google browser I get nothing. If I type into safari I get 400 bad request. If I type on command prompt I get command prompt not found
