ORBI RBR20 not connecting to PPPoE type internet

Hi,

 

Bought New Orbi RBK20 mesh system. However, router RBR20 does not connect to PPPoE type connection. Message is invalid password. Same when connected to old standard WiFi router, works well with same login & password credentials.

Internet service provider is Local Gazon broadband, with Lan cable with RJ 45 is incoming cable. Modem is common I guess.

 

Later after many try gave up and now using in AP Mode (Access Point) via old router

(wireless disabled) for connecting to modem . Works perfectly.

 

But why it does not work in standard Router mode? 

Any suggestions?

    There any special characters in the account PW? 

    "invalid password" indicates it's not able to connect using this PW or its being input incorrectly. 

     

    As a suggestion, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
