Orbi RBR40 Blocking all Websites On Wireless Mode, not Hardwired
Hi all.
Yesterday for some reason and after returning home from a month being away, our iphones started to display a message that gmail could not connect to our gmail accounts , stating the server was not secure. On our MacPro connected via wireless would not allow access to any websites displaying traits that you would see trying to access a website without an SSL certificate.
All wired devices are okay and a Surface Pro connected by wireless was okay too. It only seems to be Apple products.
I had to pay for support and after a restart, seemed to work okay. The problem again returned this morning and I honestly can't be bothered waiting on support and another hour of Level 1 tech to say restart the router again.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
James

Have you restarted your network again?
Did your iPhone update itself while you were away?
Has Gmail changed its security settings during your absence? They love playing with their system.

Netgear isn't smart enough to make subtle changes to products that pick on different brands. Have you looked in the Apple support world?
Did you find this?

If the latter, it may not have been Netgear you talked to.
What did they ask you to do?

This can be simply a matter of IP conflect or double NAT.
Is Orbi set in router or AP mode? What is the make and model of the ISP modem/router to which Orbi is connected please?
