Orbi RBR50 AC3000 not reaching 1GB internet speed
I recently upgraded my internet speed to 1Gbps. I have the Orbi RBR50 AC3000 mesh router with two satellite Orbi routers. Prior to my upgrade, I was routinely getting 450-500mbps wifi speed. Now that I’ve upgraded to 1Gbps internet speed, my speed has dropped to 110-129mbps. According to my internet provider, on THEIR end, I’m getting 1.10Gbps. They say the problem is with my router. Can this Orbi RBR50 model handle this high internet speed?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. Are you speed testing with a ethernet PC or wireless device?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router and satellites been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

"It's complicated." The WAN port on the RBR50 is Gigabit Ethernet. What should happen is the ISP device (modem, fiber ONT) and the router electronics should auto negotiate a speed of 1 Gigabit, Full Duplex:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonegotiation This is part of the physical Ethernet electronics.
You can verify that this has happened by opening the Orbi web interface, selecting the Advanced Tab, then clicking on the blue box, Show Statistics.
This is how Show Statistics looks on my RBR50:
There is overhead in Ethernet. (not as much as in WiFi, but some.) Typically, a gigabit Ethernet connection is capable of over 900 megabits/second. I have measured 940-950 Mbps over a wired Ethernet link.
So, "No. The RBR50 cannot get 1.1 Gigabits." But, it certainly should get more than 110-129 Mbps.
What many customers do is connect a computer/laptop directly to the ISP device (modem, fiber ONT) and measure speed. If speed measures slow when the Orbi is not part of the connection, then the Orbi is not part of the problem.
