ORBI RBR50 and RBS50 - new satellite required
Hello
I have a Netgear RBR50 router + RBS50 satellite. Both work quite well but I need another satellite for coverage purposes.
The RBS50 is very hard to find in Australia (maybe Netgear have stopped making them?). Can someone please suggest an alternative satellite which will not compromise/downgrade/reduce speed etc. of my WIFI system?
I have looked at the Netgear compatability table, but I understand some of these models that are compatible will downgrade my system in some way.

Yes, the original Orbi WiFi5 models were introduced in 2016 and are very difficult to find these days, especially since the industry has moved on to WiFi6 four four years ago (and is moving to even newer standards "as we speak").
None of the satellites Netgear lists as compatible with the RBR50 router will result in a significant drop in performance. However, they are ALL becoming hard to find.
There is a good chance that a three-pack of WiFi6 capable mesh units is available for not much more than the cost of a used RBS50 (if you can find one).
- aoqwpAspirantThanks for the response. Will RBS10 RBS20 RBW30 or RBS40 work without degrading my wifi?
