I’m using firmware 2.1.4.16 as I downgraded as many people said the latest firmware didn’t work with daisy chaining (should have stated this before).

If you have a Macbook it has a built-in scanner. If you have an iPhone you can download the Apple Airport app which has a built-in scanner (even if your don't have Airport routers). I'm also sure there are also other apps for Android and Windows.
