Factory reset the router and satellite and set up from scratch. Others have mentioned doing this resolved problems for them.

Thanks, I'll try it. I've reset the Plug In and router, but not the Satellite.
I'll try again tomorrow and let you know.
Thanks.

- LarryinNJOct 07, 2018StarI’m doing nothing, and hoping for the best. The 2.1.4.16 firmware was as good as I could ask for and would stay on it forever, if I could.
But I can’t...- JeroenMOct 26, 2018Guide

But Yes you can prevent auto update; 2 options:
* telnet in your orbi (https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Firmware-V1-12-0-18-Discussion/td-p/1320421/page/5)
* put download.netgear.com in the blocked sites
(i did the last one and so far so good. I see there is an update but i'm, still on 2.1.4.16)

Next time, If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually. Hoping NG support can have a look at this. So try this out as well.

Others have v210 working well.

Let us know how it goes...What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.

R- RJA1971Oct 09, 2018AspirantThe separation is about right, add it's not changed since the unfortunate update. It's definitely the new firmware that's the problem. Previously the system was absolutely rock solid.
A further issue, not so important I guess, is that on the IOS app, the router is shown as offline when using a remote connection. (it's not disconnected of course, it's just another problem with V2.2.1.210)
The signal strength of the PLUG-IN is still significantly reduced.- FURRYe38Oct 09, 2018Guru - Experienced User
I would try this, download the v210 FW files, manually install them using IE11 or FF browser. Factory reset the entire system and set up from scratch. See if the problem continues, if so, you might revert back to last working FW version...
