Orbi RBR50 Port Forwarding not working
I just cannot get port forwarding working on the RBR50.
It’s on the default setting of Router and connected to BT with an Openreach modem via PPPOE
All I’m trying to do is make an http page on a Raspberry Pi webserver (192.168.1.254) accessible to the outside world.
I have Reserved the Pi’s ipaddress in Lan Setup before adding it on the port forwarding page.
UPnP is not enabled
It has a public WAN IP address
| Hardware Version | RBR50 |
| Firmware Version | V2.1.4.10 |
| GUI Language Version | V1.0.0.314 |
| Operation Mode | Router |
| LAN Port | |
| MAC Address | A0:40:A0:77:05:XX |
| IP Address | 192.168.1.1 |
| DHCP Server |

I would have thought this would be enough but it doesn’t work…
Is there more that needs to be done?
Any advice appreceated.

Does that bt modem have a built in router? if so do you have it bridged or set to modem only?

No router - just bridged. Its just a modem...

What happens if you set Nat Filter from Secure to Open? Apply settings and reboot then configure PF rules. Can change back to Secure after testing...

Its working now. Entirely due to a misconfigured device on the network.
Never known anything like it. It shafted the Orbi!
