Orbi RBR50r2 - firmware V2.3.5.30 - slow download speeds
I have 500 Mbps service from my ISP. Checking my download speed prior to connecting to the Orbi, I get very close to 500 Mbps. After connecting to the orbi and checking the download speed -- it is about 80 Mbps. This is with a wired connection.
I have tried different cables, different ports, etc -- all with the same result.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. TIA

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle,Try a different wired PC to compare.
I have no modem from the isp -- the line comes in direct. I can connect to that line to a computer and get speeds of 500+Mbps. Running a speed test from the orbi app, the speeds are also very high. However a device connected directly to a port off the orbi and the speeds decrease by 50%-80%.
I have not reset and setup from scratch since the firmware update -- I will try that.
I have tried different computers connected directly to the orbi -- the best I get is 50% reduction in speed.
Neither circle, nor armor are enabled.
