Orbi RBR750 VPN iPad setup errors

Keep getting "server poll timeout, tryiing next remote entry" I followed instructions, enabled VPN, downloaded IOS file and transfered to iPad. Checked DDNS (NO-IP), verified event log is being redirected to my WAN IP, event log also shows the VPN ports when it tries to connect.

When I test, I turn off WiFi on iPad and use cell connection.

Orbi is primary router, so WAN IP is the real external IP. No other router or firewall between ISP and my house. Using FiOS 1 gig service.

Thanks in advance for any help...

      OVPN file,

      client
      dev tun
      proto udp
      sndbuf 393216
      rcvbuf 393216
      push "sndbuf 393216"
      push "rcvbuf 393216"
      remote XXXXXX.ddns.net 12973
      resolv-retry infinite
      nobind
      persist-key
      persist-tun
      ca ca.crt
      cert client.crt
      key client.key
      cipher AES-128-CBC
      comp-lzo

Now I am confused.  My old Orbi 'smart phone' ovpn file has only the lines before the certificate begins:

        client
        dev tun
        proto udp
        remote xxxx.mynetgear.com 12973
        resolv-retry infinite
        nobind
        persist-key
        persist-tun
        <ca>

None of that buffer stuff. And my 'smartphone' ovpn file contains all of the certificates and keys in the same text file.

There are not separate files for ca.crt, client.crt, and client.key.

Either the 750 Orbi produces a different smart-phone file, or you have the wrong ovpn file.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX With Cable Modem products.  Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi with cable modem and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum.  Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

    Thank you.
