orbi router not recognized
Recently did a factory reset because router kept dropping connection and reconnecting mostly on its own? Had this problem on an off for several weeks, hense the factory reset.
Now when booted up the router flashes white and never gets to blue or connect. It stops on solid white andf never shows up in orbi app.?? Now when trying to connect through phone app it says "orbi not found"? So I am totally without internet except on one old computer wired directly to out Ariss 6141 roouter?
I am hoping someone has had a similar problem like this but if not I am assuming its DOA! Your thoughts are welcome?
Oh yeah if this thing is dead as a router does anyone think it can be saved to be used as a satellite? (not very hopefull)
Thanks

The phone will need to be connected to the Orbi WiFi before the Orbi "app" will find it. When the Orbi router powers up, the WiFi SSID printed on the product label (bottom) should appear as one of the available WiFi networks. Password will be what is printed on the product label. Does this not happen?

There is a hack (on the internet) to transform an Orbi router into a satellite. It is not supported by Netgear and I have never attempted to use it (or even look closely at it).
