Orbi Satellite does not see Wired device
I'm connecting a wired Ethernet RTU to teh RBR50 Satellite and when configured for DHCP it is not "seen". If I configure the RTU device with a static IP - it is seen and connects perfectly. Why ...

What FW version are you using on the Orbi?
Sounds like this device doesn't like the Orbi DCHP or vs versa. Something to contact NG support about.

It's version: V2.5.1.16.
...was hoping one of you 'guru's out there would have a means to identify/isolate who's not behaving.
Appreciate all your input...

Sounds like the RBR either isn't ACK to the ARP request of the device or the device is not ACK back to the RBRs ARP request.
Something I would wireshark capture and send off to both NG and the device mfr to see where the problem maybe.

I'm going to assume your model is the Ethernet RTU?
First let's start with How do you have it connected to the RBR50?

It's a direct wired-Ethernet connection to one of the 4 ports on either/both the RBS or the RBR (one router one satellite - 3-4 other wired devices connect with no issue - as does the RTU when configured with static IP). Doesn't matter which unit it's plugged into. Been through all permutations of power cycling & rebooting to no avail.
