Orbi satellite placement

purchased from Amazon as RBK33 (base and 2 satellites) but manual refers to it as a RBR40

my satellites are RBW30 - each are currently $142 on Amazon - but they sell the base router and 2 satellites for $290 less $30 coupon.

 

anyway - small point that is not emphasized enough in any literature Netgear sends you with this 1 base router/2 satellite router unit

i ran extension cords and placed my satellites on high furniture after not seeing what i wanted when they were simply plugged into outlets. and got much better speed throughout. 

maybe i'm dense but i didn't see this suggested anywhere and its seems like an important point.
