Orbi speed
Have Orbi and 2 satellites hooked up. Wanting to set up video doorbell and exterior cameras, but getting a lot of lag due to slow internet speeds (down 6.24, up 0.62.) the units are connected to 2.4GHz. Ideas on how to increase speed? Would assume a this set up would be quicker. Thx

What model Orbi do you have?
What FW version is loaded on the router?
What Mfr and model# ISP modem do you have that the orbi is connected too?
What ISP Speed UP and Down do you pay for?
How are you speed testing? LAN wired connected PC is preferred for speed testing.
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming on the router. Save settings and reboot.

Will try your suggestions. Thx- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Check to see if your modem has a built in router as well.
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.
