Orbi Support for 4K Arlo Ultra seen at CES?

Saw the new 4k Arlo Ultra this week at CES and wondered if this complex issue would prevent the Orbi from being able to support it.

  • Though Arlo was spun off from Netgear, they still own a huge chunk of it. The entire Arlo spin off was a cash raising ploy to move forward with the Arlo brand and new device roll outs. Though operating as separate companies, they are still deeply entwined. Arlo rolling out a product that could not be effectively supported by its first-cousin company is probably not an issue. The issue, in my opinion, would be Arlo - who has a poor record of updates to support the flurry of new products and features in existing basestations and apps - breaking existing Arlo systems.
