Orbi USB printer setup

Got the routner all hooked up and blazing away wireless and wired. However I am not able to get the usb printer I plugged into it to work. I have a R7000 with the readyshare, so I know the printer works. So why on this unit can I not connect my printer to the Orbi USB port and have it work? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have it hooked up to the previous router to give myself a wireless printer from laptop, tablet, and phone.
