Orbi with wired backhaul

Setup: RBK50 - router + 1 satellite, currently wireless backhaul.

My router is upstairs and the satellite is downstairs (one floor below).

Currently the wireless backhaul status shows as Poor and I have tried different locations but it remains poor.

I am planning to do wired backhaul as described here :

https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/What-is-Ethernet-backhaul-and-how-do-I-set-it-up-on-my-Orbi-WiFi-System

Also planning to add a RBS20 (with wired backhaul) to another point in the home to improve wifi coverage.

Just want to make sure that the wired backhaul as desribed in the above link should work fine, right.

Especially the third option - where in I will connect the RBR and the satellites to a little 8-port Gigabit switch.

I guess it should work, but wanted to make sure as I need to get some wiring done for the wired backhaul stuff.

Thanks in advance.

I am planning on getting a 8-port TP-Link Gigabit Ethernet switch.
