Positioning The Orbi base station.....

My about to be replaced Airport Extreme/Time Capsule sits on a crown molding above my kitchen cabinet. Because it's not very tall, I can place it upright where it just fits below the ceiling. As the new Orbi base station is much taller, I wonder if I can rest it on its side with the blue top pointed more horizontally than vertically. So........can anyone advise if a mostly horizontal mount will adversely affect its signal dispersion??
