Printer behind ORBI not found
Dear friends, I have a standard configuration, with a WiFi modem from my Telco provider in the basement, and an (RBR50) ORBI access point (set-up as Router) in my kitchen. Both have a different S...

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the feedback !
Yes, I also print from laptops. Same issue. When on the same SSID it finds the printer. If on a different one, it does not find the printer.
Also when I manually give the IP address of the printer, it doesn't find the printer (I have the correct IP address, because I push the "i" button on the Epson printer, so it tells me the SSID and IP address).
This morning, I changed the ORBI to act as an Access Point, and no longer as a Router. All IP addresses changed (of course), but the ORBI kept the name of "its" SSID as before (so different from the one of the modem/router)... Not sure why. And so the problem remains... I can still not print from a different SSID, although the IP is now uniquely set by the modem/router.
Not sure if I can (or must) change the SSID of the ORBI to match the one from the modem/router. Today, the difference is handy, because if one "WiFi" doesn't work, you switch to the other (SSID).

Main reason for the initial issue is that you have two routers on the same line using different IP address networks. These won't allow for some cross IP address traffic thus this block data getting from the PC to the printer while on different networks. Once you changes the Orbi system to AP mode, it's network became the same as the host routers network, thus the printer and PCs were now on same network and now you can print from any PC. Recommend keeping this configuration.
