PS4 cannot connect to ORBI RBR50 by LAN

I recently got an ORBI RBR50 as a satellite for the upstairs. My PS4 is connected to the router that is downstairs wirelessly, however, I wanted to test the speeds when using an ethernet cable. When I hooked the ORBI RBR50 satellite and PS4 together with the ethernet cable, I kept on getting errors and could not connect to the internet. I feel like this is an easy fix but nothing is working that I have tried. What options do I have to address this issue?

Does the console connect to the RBR?

Try a different LAN cable? CAT6 is recommended.

Yes, I have a Legrand cat 6 ethernet cable from the Orbi RBR50 to my PS4.

It would be helpful to know more details about the equipment. Terms like "router" and "satellite" can be misleading.

For example, Orbi's RBR50 is a router (not a satellite) that must be connected to an ISP device (modem or optical unit) with an ethernet cable.

Can you provide the manufacturer and model number of the ISP device that is downstairs and the model number of the WiFi router that is plugged into it?

I made a mistake in my question. The Netgear RBR50 - ORBI AC300 Tri-Band Wifi  is downstairs and the Netgear RBS20 - ORBI AC2200 Tri-Band Wifi Add-On satellite is in my room, which is what im trying to connect to my PS4 via ethernet cable.

Thanks. This makes perfect sense.  My first step would be to look at the satellite connection to the router.
