Question regarding use of RBK50 mesh system to handle 2 different incoming internet lines

  1. Using an RBK50 mesh system to get coverage throughout home and it works great.  Only get 6-7mbs of DSL service (rural area).  Looking to add an additional line of service ( another 6-7mbs) and wondering if I can run both lines through the same ORBI router or if I need another ORBI router.  Anyone know how to proceed?

Orbi routers connect to only one modem, so no, this will not work.

There are two solutions that have been mentioned in previous posts:

    1. If you have decent mobile coverage, switch to an LTE modem for internet.
A number of posts have described using LTE modems where there is no broadband service.
    2. Front the Orbi with a router which does support multiple internet connections and put the Orbi into Access Point (AP) mode.
This is one such router: https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/205145990-EdgeRouter-WAN-Load-Balancing

There is also satellite internet. https://www.satelliteinternet.com/
