RBK-53: Strange problem after firmware upgrade
It is reproduceable, encountered the same problem since every 2.3.x firmware.
Login to Orbi admin,
On the firmware upgrade page, new version of firmware is available for RBR-50 and 2 RBS-50.
Select upgrade all, and wait untill all nodes are done.
Everything looks fine, devices are able to connect back with no issue.
~10 hous later
Devices are dropped from all satellites, it shows connected but no Internet.
Orbi app network maps shows GREEN on all satellites, but no connected devices
Router RBR-50 is fine.
Restart all RBS-50 (power off and then on) solves the problem.
No more connection problem until next upgrade...
This happens after every v2.3.x upgrade (2.3.1.60 / 2.3.1.48 / 2.3.1.44)... very annoying...
Any idea?

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch with out loading any saved backup config files been performed after v60 was loaded?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).- sh2sgApprentice
this only happened 10 hours after firmware upgrade, and didn't come back again after the reboot. i dont think it has anything to do with house size, neighbors' wifi, distance etc.
devices had full signal to satellites but couldn't connect to them, it looked like IP conflict to me, after upgrade, satellites IP lease somehow became out of sync, expired 10 hours eariler soemthing and RBR-50 wasn't aware of it until reboot satellites.
RBR-50 is using in AP mode btw.

Please give feedback to the questions presented so we can get an idea of your situation.
Also try a full factory reset on the system and setup from scratch.
