RBK50 cannot manage router using Chrome

When I came back from my holiday, I wanted to check some thing on my router. Before I could connect to the routers management page with my browser (Chrome) now that is impossible. It keeps bringing me back to a 401 unauthorized page where I can change my password after giving my routers serial number and answer 2 secret questions. I did that 3 times now, but it doesn't help.

I can connect through the app on my phone, so that seems to be normal.

 

What can I do about this?

 

Firmware V2.3.5.30

    Does this happen with other browsers like IE11, FF or Opera? 

    Be sure to clear out ALL browser caches with in the brower. Exit the browser then relauch and try again. 

     

    Last report may need a factory rest on the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard, this time besure to write down all important information for safe keeping.
