RBK50 Router Connectivity Issue
Hello! Pardon for posting right off the bat. Hoping to save time and perhaps have someone point me to the right link. I purchased a "used" Orbi Router (RBK50) with one satellite a couple of months ago and just now getting around to setting it up along with an Arris Surfboard SB6190 modem. Issues I have is the router not obtaining ip access from the modem as well as the Router SSID not showing on the list of access. I've already done reset on the router more than once along with plugging/unplugging both the modem and the router to no avail. However, I am able to access the internet via a cable connecting my laptop to the modem. Doing the same cable connection via the ethernet connection on the back of the Router is no go. I also want to add that the LED ring on the Router stays on blinking white light and then, a steady magenta after an hour or so. Netgear Support shows that the whole unit was originally purchased back in July of 2017 and the warranty expired on July of 2018. Hoping somebody within the community can provided help. I get the feeling that the Router is broke although the Satellite works having been utilized on a different system. Apologies for the long post. Thanks in advance.

If you power up the Orbi, not connected to the modem, and connect a laptop to one of the LAN ports, wired, not WiFi.
- Does the laptop connect?
- If you open a web browser and connect to 192.168.1.1, does an Orbi web page come up?
If so, what firmware version does it show?
Thanks

The SB6190 is on a bad list of modems, FYI.
