RBR40_Can't login to Admin directly
RBR40_Firmware V2.5.1.16
- Access thru App works fine
- Get login screen thru 192.168.1.1
- User name / password accepted without error, but bounces back to login
- Sometimes get "not secure", use "https" with same results as above
- After a few attempts, reset password via Serial number - accepts new password and security questions
- Back to login screen - same results, loops back to login screen
- Hard reset to factory settings - Same results
- Connect via ethernet direct - Same results
- Multiple computers and mobile devices - Same results
Everything else is working fine...just can't login direct to Admin settings
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

What web browser are you using? (on Mac? Windows? or...?)
Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Thanks for reaching out, should have stated that... clearing cache hasn't helped. I've tried Mac (Safari & Chrome) and Windows (Chrome). I noticed a thread suggesting a hard reset "while connected via ethernet"... I started that way but a message came up and suggested the App...guess I could try that again and stay connected?

I find this confusing. When I attempt to connect to the Orbi web interface (which in my case is also 192.168.1.1), if I enter incorrect credentials, all that happens is the login window appears again. (bounces back?) After three failed attempts, it goes to the Password Recovery process.
There is no "error".
This leads me to suspect that the credentials being entered are incorrect.
When an Orbi is "Reset to Factory", the credentials are "admin" and "password".

Thanks...that makes sense. I'm changing credentials from default during reboot, and immediately try to login with new credentials, I'll try again and leave the default to see if I can get in... appreciate the observation.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? One maybe needed if you see log in problems.
Walk thru the setup wizard and input correct admin and new password info. Be sure to write down all important infornation.
Be sure to clear out all browser caches as well prior to going to the admin page...
