RBR40 ip address 10.0.0.1 after connecting directly to Fios ONT
I recently cut the cord with Verizon Fios TV service and decided to return their equipment including their G1100 router. I still continue to use Fios 1GB internet service and was told my Verizon that I can plug in the ethernet directly from the Fios ONT to my Orbi RBR40.
After I switched the the Orbi to router mode and plugged in the ethernet to the Fios ONT everything came up fine but now I notice that the IP address is 10.0.0.1. Not sure if this is a problem but seems strange. I did get some 'Config Sync' errors on my satellites but this was quickly resolved by doing a reboot to the Orbi system.
You can manually change that IP address to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Doesn't have to be 10.
Orbi only detected that your old router was using same 192.168.1.1 address thus Orbi changed to 10. It won't auto change back if the other router was removed. You can leave it or change it.Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and Orbi system been performed since last update?

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, both we power cycled for 2 minutes.

Might try a factory reset and setup from scratch to help clear the config sync.
