I am attempting to send myself logs through the security tab in the router, and nothing seems to be working. I am using smtp.google.com with the correct port and authentication, and I keep getting an error in the log when it attempts to send it.
Oddly enough, when I am inputting my password in the authentication area, more dots are shown than there are password characters. Could this be the issue?
Regards.

Email logs from routers are a constant cause of grief. It doesn't help that email outfits keep messing around with SMTP security.
I don't know if people have had success with GMail. In my case I use Outlook.
