RBR50 2.1.4.10 drops internet, cured by simply accessing its menu

My Orbi master disconnects from the internet every day or so. When I access its menu and enter my password, it reconnects every time. My internet is supplied by my condo, so I don't know its hardware configuration. The problem seems to be in my HW/FW because accessing the menu shouldn't cause it to request a new DHCP connection from the building's router. The router has been reset multile times since the firmware was installed.

If the condos internet is on a router do you have your orbi set to AP mode?

AP mode is not shown in my menu. In any case, internet is dropping out in an all-wired configuration, with wifi not being used.

Is there a ISP modem that the Orbi router is connected too? if so, Mfr and model# of the modem? Built in router here?

What browser are you using? Try IE11 or FF browsers.

There is AP mode under Advaned Settings? Router or AP mode menu selection.

I'm using Chrome. The building supplies internet through a single RJ-45 connector at the service entrance, to which the WAN port on my ORbi is connected. I then take Cat 5e from the Orbi to my PC input. The building's router is not in my condo unit.

I've attached a screenshot my wireless settings menu.

Is the Orbi getting a public IP address, ##.##.###.### on it's wan port or a private IP address, something like 192, 172 or a 10.##.###.### address?

When it drops internet, can you still gain access to the Orbi's Web page? Is so, whats the status say on Basic?

Are you using the wifi at all for access from other devices?

How many other wifi neighbors are near by and what channesl are they using?

My current assigned IP is  69.59.2.26, gateway is  69.59.2.1. When I access Orbi's web page, the problem is cured and the status shows an internet connection.

Wifi has nine devices attached: TVs, Ecobees, phones, etc. 10 neighbors show up in this apartment condo, using channels 1-12 on 2.4 gHz, but none on 5 gHz.

Might try a factory reset on the Orbi system. Then set up from scratch. This time, don't add the satellite, just set up the router.

How big is your home? Sq FT?

Might try setting the wireless radio power from 100% to 75 or 50%
