RBR50 and RBS50 Unable to Sync no matter what i tried

RBR50 unable to sync with RBS50 x3

i have 3 satellite that i want to sync with the router,

router and satellites are all factory resetted, but satellites always show solid magenta unless if i use ethernet, then it stays solid blue, but its connected as a device and not a satellite.

have tried to;

1) sync before reset, and sync after reset

2) power cycle

2) downgrade firmware to 2.7 and reset and power cycle

3) downgrade firmware to 1.8 and reset and power cycle

i've ran out of ideas and close to throwing this into the bin, and for now i have advised my friend against orbi product until i get this solved.

    What Firmware version is currently loaded? Be sure that the RBS are using same version of FW that the RBR has loaded.

    Try to sync the RBS wirelessly one at a time while in same room as the RBR.

      1.8 is currently loaded for rbr and 3 satellite.
      Tried all at once, and one by one while the others are powered down. Tried side by side, and even putting abit of distance between them with no obstacle.

        I would not have loaded v1.8.

        Does walking thru the setup wizard on the RBR help any with adding 1 RBS?

        Possible the system is faulty or the RBR is faulty. IF this is new, I'd return it for another system. Or contact NG support and see what your options are for an RMA.

  • One strange occurrence is when I press and hold the sync button on both router and satellite at the same time, both changed to solid blue and stays there for hours with no movement and wifi from the main router is down. where I have to force reboot to get the router to boot up again.
